Sylvester McCoy introduces this episode of PodCulture: TARDIS Interruptus!

We begin with Andy’s own review of the Doctor Who Christmas Special, The Snowmen. While Unquiet Dead will always be his favorite, he did appreciate the “Scooby Gang” vibe. Christina raises questions about Oswin versus Clara and Andy gives his initial review. While he never warmed to Amy as Brad had, he is enraptured with the new Companion. He enjoys that the Christmas episode is actually a bridge between series as opposed to a stand-alone story. How has the transition gone between the Ponds and Clara? Would we like to see old Companions come back and how?

Nick segues from Clara to the Caped Crusader. He speaks about the various Batman films and the back story of the villains. He discusses the various Alfreds and how they differ. Nick explains why he enjoyed Christopher Nolan’s movies. The gang talks on Anne Hathaway and Gary Oldman. Bruce Wayne or Batman, which actors played which facet of the role better? The conversation turns to the origins of Batman as well as where he gets his cool toys. Christina loves the documentary on the blu-ray about the history of the Batmobile. She shares the difficulty keeping the secret of her presents for Brad and Nick makes her really look forward to watching Heath Ledger’s Joker.

Music this week includes “Onward” by Dr. Noise from the album, Trock On.
