We open this week’s episode with the stellar news that PodCulture is a finalist at the 2010 Parsec Awards. The competition in the Best Speculative Fiction Fan or News Podcast General is stiff, but the crew is thrilled!

Geeks need sugar, and we share our Geek Cuisine with you! After the excitement over finding out that there are Buffy Jones Soda flavors, Adam introduces Fizzled Fruits Skittles.

Glenn opens Geek and Tell with the news that he has downloaded Android for his phone. Adam hasn’t gotten anything new yet, but he’s planning on picking up Starcraft 2. Brad broaches the World of Warcraft controversy of real name reveal. What do you think? Weigh in on our voicemail! Christina and Brad talk about the Wii swap they did with Brad’s dad, which ended up being beneficial for all. Brad shows off his new Green Lantern Chuck Taylor Converse and talks in depth about the Augen Gentouch78 Tablet that he got as early birthday presents from Christina. He discusses both the cons and the possibilities of the tablet, and holds out hope for improvement. Glenn is intrigued by the Android tablet and debates the option to pick the future version up and buy just a simple phone for calling.

In closing, Glenn discusses the upcoming and much anticapted MMO RPG DC Universe Online, and gets everyone to sign up for a chance to be in the beta testing. The questions abound about customization, character options and console choices, and we all can’t wait to find out.

Our promo this week comes from Milk Carton TV, and the song is Fanboy (2010 Edition) by The Great Luke Ski.
